What We Offer

Researching Relatives provides a professional, friendly, reliable and reasonably priced service helping clients in the researching of their English forebears.

We have many years experience researching our own and other people's family histories and we offer a personalised service, tailored to meet each client's individual needs.

A typical project will involve:

  • Discussion with the client to agree the research work desired.
  • Undertaking the specific work
  • Analysis of the data found
  • Preparation of a report, setting down the detailed findings.
  • Suggestions for future research.
  • Researching Relatives will help you to identify your research targets and decide on the content of any work to be done.

Once the research target has been agreed, Researching Relatives will then agree with you details of the specific work to be performed, estimated costs and timescales.

Our aim is to provide you with a friendly, reasonably priced and professional service.

All research is carried out thoroughly and enthusiastically. We will include copies of supporting documents such as parish register entries, birth certificates, wills and census returns. We will offer our analysis of documents we find, based on our personal knowledge of the times in which your ancestors lived.
